I finally finished the MalDev Academy Main modules after quite some time. The subscription (live long) is definetly worth the money - it even is ridiculously cheap compared to other trainings. The content is from my point of view extremly good and up to date. New content is published regularly, so it will not get boring any time soon. The community is incredibly helpful and the modules are quite challenging.
Writing Malware is in my perspective not limited to that. You also learn a lot about the Windows API, C development, malware analysis and especially debugging from my experience if you are doing the exercises thoroughly. While doing the exercises, having everything correct the first time is normally not the case, so you have to dig deeper and that is how you learn all the different skills.
Overall I heavily recommend MalDev Academy for everyone interested in Malware and eager to understand different techniques and inner workings.
